Mikus Mergups, CFP®, CRPC®
Managing Partner
Mikus has been in the financial services industry since 2002. After obtaining his Bachelors degrees in Economics and Finance, he began his investment career working as a Stock Broker in New York City in 2002. He furthered his education in Europe, earning a Masters in European Economic Integration and Development, as well as extensive graduate coursework and research in statistical analysis, finance and investments. Over the years he has gained practical investment and financial planning expertise working for several Fortune 500 companies. Mikus is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (TM) professional, holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 Licenses, and also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation.
Mikus and his wife have four children. Outside the financial planning business, Mikus manages several real estate properties and his wife works as a Family Nurse Practitioner and serves as an officer in the US Army Reserves. They enjoy many outdoors activities together, including bicycling, swimming, hiking and fishing as well as spending time with close family and friends. Mikus hopes to raise his children with the same Christian values that he was raised with and perhaps someday see one of them eager to join and continue the financial planning practice.

Kathryn Starbuck

Kathryn has been in the Insurance & Financial Services Industry since 1998. Starting her career in Omaha, NE at a Home Office Insurance Company while studying at the University of Nebraska for her undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication. In 2000, she moved to Sacramento, CA and developed a Consumer Protection Department for Insurance Company while finishing her BA Degree at California State University. Kathryn has spent the last ten years serving her clients at a leading bank as a Financial Advisor and Senior Financial Specialist. Kathryn has obtained her CA Insurance License, Finra Series 6, 63, & 7 Licenses, as well as her Long Term Care Designation. She understands that clients are in different stages of life and is passionate about being a financial advocate for each and every client and will work hard to help them achieve their financial goals.
Kathryn and her husband also have four beautiful children. Kathryn enjoys being involved at her church, Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, serving both on Stewardship Committees and Sunday School Education. She also is on the Board of Directors for Blake’s Purpose and Non-Profit Fundraising for Toggo International. She loves spending time with her family, playing sports, reading, and running.
